Hi, Welcome to my award winning website Lucy Gleeson Interiors, formerly Lucy Loves Ya.
I’m an interior designer and stylist. I also regularly update my colourful blog with inspiration for the home on any budget and DIY ideas.
Having worked as a performer in Film, Theatre and Television shows for BBC and ITV and also behind the camera for over a long period of time on programmes including Top of the Pops, Parkinson, The BRITS and Film Baftas – this has enabled me to gain much experience in use of colour palettes, structure of design and working to strict time schedules. You can never be late for a live show!
The last eight years have flown by since I started working in interiors. So much has happened.
Overseas visits to global trade fairs such as Salone Del Mobile, Milan and regular National press event trips to factories have proved very useful in remaining abreast of upcoming trends and quality of workmanship.
I won the prestigious ‘ Colour Inspiration ‘ Amara Interior Blog Award selected by industry specialists and journalists, sponsored by Farrow & Ball. I’m honoured to have opened homeware stores, been invited to chat on BBC Radio and give advice as an Expert Panelist at large scale Interior Design Events.
As you will see on my blog, I have also collaborated with a wide range of companies, styling and photographing their products. Brands include Marks & Spencers, Sofa Workshop, Habitat, Designers Guild, Darlings of Chelsea, Joseph Joseph, Wedgwood, Style Library, Quick-Step Flooring, LSA International, Burleigh Pottery, Pantone, G Plan, DFS and Ercol.
I have extensively studied interior design and am now working to help create dream home spaces with clients, which is incredibly rewarding. whether it’s one room, a whole home or a business premises. All projects are most welcome for discussion.
On the blog I work with brands that I feel are suitable and feedback to my readers is always 100 % honest.
Do drop me a line at email@example.com if you’d like to chat either about a home or business design consultation – or if you’re a company looking to work with me. You can see a list of what I offer on my Services page.
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for reading.
