Meet Our Pup from Pink Apple Designs

Magis Puppy Chair2

We have a new member in our household. He’s very well behaved and doesn’t bark when we have visitors. This is Pup.

Designed by Aarnio for Magis, this is the medium sized version of the Magis Puppy Chair – it also comes in various colours. Pink Apple very kindly sent us him to review and so I have asked my daughters to tell me what they think. Mae says he’s cute, comfy and fun – Betsey thinks he’s cuddly and lovely. They can lean back on it and it takes their weight and apparently feels nice and relaxing. Sandy likes him too although he gave him a good sniff first.

Personally, I like the fact that is so lightweight but robust at the same time. The shape/ base of the legs seem to ensure that it’s really sturdy. Made from polyethylene plastic, apparently the Puppy Chair is suitable for outdoors too, so good for the warmer months.

He’s also not just a seat in our home – oh no. He’s also a jewellery holder and a book rest. I have a feeling that he’s going to kept busy here.

I would give this little fella an all round 5 out of 5 – the price starts at £53 plus delivery for the smallest size, which isn’t cheap but it’s not a throw away item and  something that you woulds want to keep for as long as possible and then friends would happily take off your hands for their little ones, as it is aesthetically rather loveable.

Thanks very much to Pink Apple for sending him over. I very much like their store  – it’s bubbling over with colourful ( and plenty of lighter ), contemporary products. They sell lots of original, good quality pieces for the home that are manufactured by Europe’s leading furniture and lighting companies such as such as Ercol, Kartell, Vitra .. way too many to mention. The list of designers that they work with are pretty impressive too. Have a look if you fancy …

Have a good day.
