We decided to head in to London Town for the day and make the most of the half term. The sun was shimmering on the Thames as we arrived at The Tower of London ( not sure that was my choice but it was fun all the same ) and then we cabbed it over to Selfridges for a nice veggie lunch, followed by a wander around one of the best stores in the world. Liberty London.
I know I’ve talked about this before so I won’t repeat myself but took a few pics to share with you. The store is looking really inspiring at the moment – the Liberty print hanging decorations are so effective. Andy took the girls off to spend some vouchers in Hamleys which meant I got some quality time just enjoying all the designs.
Andy bought me a wonderful Meyer – Lavigne vase, I’ve been a fan of theirs for ages and I filled it with some flowers as soon as I could…
We also stocked up on some gorgeous stationery in Liberty. Another post will be coming on that soon. Washi tapes, stickers, stamp sets and notebooks.
It really was a perfect day spent with my little family. The only disappointment was that they really wanted to go and see the Queen and were not happy to hear that you can’t just pop in for tea.
My friend Corne had made some fudge and meringues and put them in giant cups and saucers. A thoughtful present – she makes the best fudge in the world !
What’s your favourite shop for inspiration .. or just with things that you love ?
Have a nice day.
