Now, I think this Boombox worktop saver by Joseph Joseph is one of my favourites. it’s from part of their retro workshop range – and the great thing is, it has a lifetime guarantee against breakage ! £16 is a pretty good price too.

Okay, so these ceramic Paul Smith retro naked ladies cufflinks Liberty London may not be appropriate for small children to give to their beloved Dad, but they’re pretty cool for the slightly older customer and I reckon they’d go down pretty well… £60

I’m not sure if I picked these Adidas leopard print Jeremy Scott basketball shoes with tail for your Dad/husband or for myself but you have to admit they are… pretty darn fine ! They are £140. There are a fab range of trainers ( some not quite as crazy ) on their site.
